WATER BASED - JOIN IN 4H BBQ LUNCH CRUISE
Departure at 10 AM
- Explanation of the fishing techniques, mountain rice culture and lake history.
- Dock by one of the numerous islands around 11:40AM, and our guide will demonstrate the net fishing technique. Then by 12:00pm you will have a catering BBQ service on this island.
- Free time to swim. Board back on the boat around 1:20PM.

bacci ceremony: 55$ for up to 5 people (30min)
The Baci ceremony is one of the most revered traditions in Laos. The term commonly used is “sou khuan” which means “spirit enhancing or spirit calling”. The ceremony involves the tying of white cotton strings around wrists with prayer sayings or well wishings to travelers.
30min rooster fighting : 5$/pers
Cock fighting, a long-standing form of popular entertainment, is organised during traditional festivals throughout Laos. Take part with the owners around the arena and assist to a battle (harmless, no artificial spurs) and get to learn about the rules, species and training of the chickens.

Ban Tha Heua village is renowned for its fish market in which a variety of fish species and types (fresh or dried) composes the main daily income for the fishermen, their families and their meals.
